Season’s Greetings, Wilmette!
As we approach the end of 2021, we first want to say thank you to all who have participated so far in the Comprehensive Plan. The planning process kicked-off in Fall, and to date we have had a pop-up event, our first Open House (in-person and virtual), several meetings with local committees and commissions, and fantastic online engagement with over 3,100 website visits and 1,300 unique visitors.
While you reflect on your year ahead and set intentions/goals for 2022, we encourage you to think about Wilmette’s future, too. Grab some hot chocolate, a warm blanket, and please take 5 minutes to respond to Poll #1, which focuses on the current engagement themes: Community Character; Arts, Culture, and Entertainment; and Health, Safety, and Wellness. Early next year we will shift to focus on the next set of themes: Community Diversity, Inclusiveness, and Community Institutions.
