Tomorrow 3/15: Wilmette Talk #2 – “Moving Towards a More Welcoming Wilmette & What it Means to Belong”

Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15th at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium at Regina Dominican High School for Wilmette Talk #2 – a community discussion on the topics of belonging, diversity and inclusion in Wilmette.

The event will commence with opening remarks by Village President Senta Plunkett. Following, panelists will take the stage to engage in moderated discussion with audience Q+A. Community institutions taking part in the panel include the Baha’i House of Worship, Highcrest Middle School / District 39, New Trier High School, Regina Dominican High School, and the Wilmette Park District, alongside members of Wilmette’s Human Relations Commission.

Please arrive on time (or slightly before) to take part in the totality of the evening, experience and setlist. This is an exploratory, learning and aspirational journey aimed at informing and shaping our future and comprehensive plan. All Wilmette community organizations, institutions, their members, Wilmette residents, businesses, employees and stakeholders are invited to take part. Join us as we together explore these topics – their meaning, depth and interconnectedness – and continue to develop a shared understanding of opportunities and challenges, possibilities and potential in Wilmette.
